Life and Career
Nora Heschl was born on the 28th of February 1987 in Oberwart, Austria. She started dancing at the age of 4. When she was 12, she succesfully auditioned for her first big role in the Musical "Xmas- what a surprise" which was performed in the AKZENT Theater in Vienna.
From then on, she received an extensive education in dancing and singing in Vienna`s Perfoming Centre Austria and became a part of the Musical Company KMC.

Nora had her first screen appearance in 2002 with the feature film "Poppitz" which became one of the most successful movies in Austria ever and was also shown during several festivals in Europe, Canada, the U.S., and Asia. Among other newspapers, Poppitz was also mentioned in the New York Times.

Since then, Nora has not stopped acting and has worked on TV series, comedies, TV movies, and sitcoms. Nora guest-starred in some of Austria's and Germany's most successful crime series (e.g.: Kommissar Rex). Moreover, she shot 4 movies with director Xaver Schwarzenberger, who is well known for his black humor family movies (e.g.: Zuckeroma) - all of them are among the most successful TV movies of the respective years in Austria. Additionally, Nora had a leading part in Austria's most successful sitcom Novotny und Maroudi, and is currently involved as a leading part in a family series, Oben Oben, which was the most successful TV series in 2008 in Austria. Additionally, she was nominated for the Austrian UNDINE Award as best female actress in a TV series 2008.

Nora speaks English fluently because she attended a school where English was the language of instruction. She also has a good knowledge of French and a basic vocabulary in Italian.
