Arakelyan has been crowned Miss Hayastan 2012 (Miss Armenia 2012) in the grand finale at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theatre in the capital city of Yerevan on Tuesday night, 10th April, 2012. Anna Arakelyan will represent Armenia in Miss World 2012 beauty contest which is the 62nd edition of Miss World beauty contest, and it will held in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on 18th August, 2012.  Armenia will participate in that famous contest for the first time.
